The Equdex platform is a unique technology platform designed to meet the needs of both project owners and financiers. Project owner users are able upload their projects onto the platform which is then viewed by our financier users.
Our vision of the Equdex platform is to become the global hub of private infrastructure finance and a resource for stakeholders in the infrastructure space.

Project owners who are registered users can upload details of their project to the Equdex platform. The platform is designed to be intuitive and easy to use so that users are able enter details such as the location, summary, type of energy (solar, wind etc), the total cost of the project, the amount they seek from financiers and the preferred funding structure. Any documents such as business plans, projected accounts, and other details can be uploaded too.
Equdex would check the listing details to ensure that all the information entered is correct and where there is missing information, Equdex will contact the project owner. Once the project is approved, it will become ‘live’ and will be listed on the Equdex platform. This allows our financier users to see the details of the project to make an initial assessment. If they consider the project to be appropriate, they would then make contact with the project owner through the messaging system on the Equdex platform. It is likely that a project owner may receive messages of interest from more than one financier.
Once contact is made, the project owner and financer can commence such necessary discussions are they deem appropriate.

We understand that finding bankable projects can be tough. This is even more difficult outside the normal geographic domain of the financier. Equdex is working towards bringing opportunities in infrastructure projects to financiers in all parts of the world.
Starting in Africa, we are bringing together some of the most impactful renewable energy projects to the consciousness of financiers. The Equdex platform allows our project owner users to enter details of their projects, the total cost of the project, the amount they seek and preferred funding structure. They may also upload documents such as business plans, financial statements etc. Our financer users would have this information quickly allowing them to focus on making decisions more efficiently and effectively.
The financier user always initiates contact with a project owner on the Equdex platform. The Equdex platform ensures that only interested parties connect with each other. A project owner user cannot initiate contact.
We believe the Equdex platform opens up a world of opportunities for our financier users to access opportunities which they would not otherwise have.

Yes, we are currently in the process of fundraising. We successfully closed an Angel round in Q1 2023 and are actively seeking investors who are interested in contributing to our mission.

We are currently preparing for our Seed funding round, which we expect to close in Q4 of 2024. Looking ahead, we plan to initiate our Series A funding round in 2025. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and develop our platform.
